Arkansas Department
of Economic Development - In 1955, Arkansas made
a commitment to its economic future by establishing the State’s economic
development agency. Today, the ADED continues to foster an environment that

Arkansas Development Finance
Authority - Since its creation in 1985, ADFA has
become the State’s largest source of low-cost financing for low-to-moderate
income housing development, small industries, government, education,
agricultural business enterprises and health care. It provides long-term, fixed
rate loans to fund the purchase of real estate, new construction, machinery and
equipment and working capital. Loans generally range from a minimum of $100,000
to a maximum of $1.25 million.

Delta (ECD)
- ECD’s mission is to improve the quality of life
for low and moderate income residents of the Delta regions of Arkansas,
Mississippi and Louisiana. ECD fulfills its mission by providing market-driven
financial and technical assistance to Delta firms and entrepreneurs, by forging
strategic partnerships with key actors for the private, public and
not-for-profit sectors, and by promoting the development of the region’s human
and economic assets.
Global Marketing Support Services - Global Marketing Support Services is an
extension of the Division of Agriculture at the University of Arkansas in
Fayetteville. It is an export assistance agency that serves small- to
medium-sized companies as well as the community with education of the processes
involved in exporting, providing market research and, ultimately, to
accomplish their international objectives.

U.S. Small Business
Administration - SBA is dedicated to
providing customer-oriented, full-service programs and accurate, timely
information to the entrepreneurial community. Their web site provides quick and
easy access to basic program information, identifies the intended customer, and
describes how they deliver their services.
UALR Small Business Development Center -
The Arkansas SBDC is part of a national network of more than 950 small business
development center offices and is the largest small business assistance program
in the United States. It provides a small business information center,
individual consulting, a small business training program; export development
information and online classes. It also provides FAX-on-Demand documents.
U.S.D.A. Cooperative State, Research, Education and Extension Service
- The CSREES provides leadership and administration to identify, develop and
manage programs to support university-based and other institutional research,
education and extension.
