Ron is an associate professor of economics with the University of Arkansas Division of Agriculture Cooperative Extension Service in the Department of Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness. His responsibilities include developing educational programs in the areas of cooperatives, farm management of specialty crops and farmers markets.

Ron holds a B.S. in agribusiness, an M.S. in agricultural economics and a Ph.D. in economics, all from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. He is a past president of the Arkansas State Horticultural Society and the Arkansas Association of Cooperative Extension Specialists.

Ron believes that LeadAR will help develop his leadership skills to become a great leader and enhance his ability to serve Arkansas citizens through improved educational programs. He and wife, Jenel had their first child in April.
