LeadAR
Class 13 Introductions

David Nelson
Magnolia - Columbia County

Picture of David NelsonDavid is the manager of rail products for CMC Rail, a railroad salvage division of Commercial Metals Company. In that capacity, he buys and sells used or abandoned rails for resale, recycling or scrap.

He holds a B.S. degree in agribusiness from Southern Arkansas University. And, he has taken coursework from the Materials Engineering Institute. He is a graduate of Leadership Magnolia and currently serves as chair-elect of the governing board.

David believes that LeadAR will allow him the opportunity to see the big picture of how small towns like Magnolia contribute to the state and to provide opportunities for him to help the city grow, retain population and prosper.
