Class 13 Introductions

Pat Johnson
Pocahontas - Randolph County

Pat is a social service aide and parenting instructor for the Randolph County Department of Health and Human Services. She provides weekly parenting classes to their clients, arranges appointments for families to meet with appropriate needed resources and transportation to get there, and attends required court hearings.

One of her proudest accomplishments was to take the leadership role to establish the Eddie Mae Herron Community Center and Museum in Pocahontas.

Pat believes that LeadAR will increase her understanding of the economic and social changes in Arkansas. She wants to use the knowledge she gains to help the underprivileged in her area. Pat and her husband Sherley have two grown children.
