April Ambrose
Conway - Faulkner County

April works for ecoIntegration, a green buildings and sustainability consulting company in Little Rock. She is also the co-executive director of the Arkansas Earth Day Foundation whose mission is to spread environmental awareness in the state and beyond.

She holds a B.A. degree in environmental studies from Hendrix College and a teaching license in secondary social studies specializing in environmental education.

She grew up on a diversified farm in Van Buren County and was an active 4-H member. April is the board secretary of the Arkansas Environmental Education Association and founded the website SustainAR.org to create synergy and networking among all sustainability organizations and businesses.

April believes the most important issues facing our state and nation are the environment and sustainable energy production.
