Who Will Take the Lead?LeadAR

he LeadAR program is designed to develop well-rounded, open-minded people, skilled in communications, educated in local, national, and world affairs, familiar with the changing needs of our society, and prepared to meet the leadership challenges of the 21st Century.

If you - or someone you know - wants a life changing experience in leadership development, contact the LeadAR Office, P. O. Box 391, Little Rock, AR 72203, phone 501-671-2076; complete the "Interested in Applying" form or contact your local county Extension office.

Who Can Participate?

Criteria for selection of class members include:

  • Resident of Arkansas
  • 25 years of age or older by the first seminar of the new class
  • Demonstrates leadership qualities and potential through community service and involvement ,agriculture, business, and/or rural enterprise
  • Demonstrates active participation in local organizations and/or the community at large
  • Good character and reputation
  • Potential for contribution and impact to the local community and the State of Arkansas

 Each class selected will be representative of Arkansas’ diverse population and cultures.
