Community Economic Profiles

How does your county stack up in terms of population, health, education, income, and jobs?

State and county profiles are published periodically to provide community and state leaders with salient social and economic indicators.  The indicators provide a snapshot and trends of the county, region, or state.  The state or Arkansas Rural Family Profile provides a comparison between rural and urban areas and among rural regions of Arkansas.

The Rural Profile of Arkansas seeks to capture the diversity of rural Arkansas by breaking analysis of rural areas into three distinct regions: the Delta, the Coastal Plains and the Highlands. While the focus is on rural Arkansas, data are also provided for urban counties and urban regions

For additional copies of the latest profile, please contact your local county Extension agent or contact Dr. Wayne Miller, Extension Economist - Community Development (501) 671-2072.
