Attracting Retirees
For mild weather, plenty of lakes and woodlands, you can't beat
Arkansas for retirement. Sometimes people need and extra draw. This
program helps communities ensure they have what retirees need and explain how to
recruit them.
In addition to helping communities plan for, develop and enhance
retiree attraction programs, we can provide communities with the results of
several studies which identify community features that attract retirees and what
retirees could mean to your community.
If interested, communities can include Retiree Relocation as one
of their subject areas in which they obtain Arkansas Community of Excellence
(ACE) certification from the Arkansas Department of Economic Development.
